Sanitary Sewer Overflow Reported on June 23, 2019 at Broadway and Cherokee Streets
Because of heavy rain June 22-23, a manhole at the intersection of Broadway and Cherokee Streets overflowed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on June 23. Water Pollution control estimates 6,000 gallons of water overflowed and washed into Three-Mile Creek.
The City and Water Pollution Control would like to remind citizens to stay out of water coming from manholes, and to stay out of the Three-Mile Creek area for a few days.
