What is a site plan for a New Home, New Duplex, and Addition?
A site plan is a drawing that shows your property boundaries, the house, and other major structures, it also shows the set back distances between the property boundaries and the main structure, and it will also need to include erosion control measures for the Land Disturbance Permit. For new homes, it is required to have a site plan drawn up by a State of Kansas licensed surveyor. Site plans must also include sewer connections to sewer main. Please note there may be sewer connection fees.
