Recreation Activity Scholarship Program

Qualifying individuals or families who live in the city limits of Leavenworth and are currently receiving public financial assistance may be awarded a $100 credit per approved person per year to be used toward certain Leavenworth Parks and Recreation Department activities. There is a minimum co-pay of $10 per program registration.

Applications must be renewed each year. The full policy is available below along with an application form. 

The recipient must appear in-person to receive/use their scholarship. Scholarships and program use are reviewed by appointment only. You must call Tabor Medill at 913-758-6648 to set the appointment.

• Bitty Basketball
• Community Center Passes
• Riptides Swim Team
• Swim Lessons
• Youth Baseball/Softball
• Youth Basketball
