Community Development Advisory Board
The Community Development Advisory Board's chief responsibility is to oversee the conduct of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Leavenworth is an entitlement city that receives CDBG funds for the purposes of helping low and moderate income families with:
- Home Repair Program
- Home Ownership Program
- Home Accessibility Program
CDBG funds are also allocated to qualified:
- Public Service Agencies
- Removal of Dangerous and Blight
- Infrastructure
