  • Leavenworth Public Library's Kansas Roomcontains historic and genealogical materials for the Leavenworth area and the state of Kansas.   • The Leavenworth County Historical Society at the Edward R. Carroll Mansion House and Museum has archival collections that include historical information on Leavenworth County, its families, businesses, social organizations and many other areas of interest.   • Kansas Division of Health and Environment - Office of Vital Statistics - this office receives and preserves vital records for events (births, stillbirth, deaths, marriages, and divorces) which occur in Kansas. The Office maintains more than 10 million vital records, adding approximately 100,000 new records annually. Over 360,000 certified copies of these records are issued to eligible requestors annually.
