City offices closed Sept. 2, trash delayed

The City of Leavenworth offices and the Riverfront Community Center will be closed Monday Sept. 2, 2024 for Labor Day.

Trash will be delayed one day throughout the week.

  • Trash scheduled for Monday, Sept. 2 will be picked up Tuesday Sept. 3
  • Trash scheduled for Tuesday Sept. 3 will be picked up Wednesday Sept. 4
  • Trash scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 4 will be picked up Thursday Sept. 5.
  • Trash scheduled for Thursday Sept. 5 will be picked up Friday Sept. 6
  • Trash scheduled for Friday Sept. 6 will be picked up Saturday Sept. 7.

Large item pickup requested on this week will be picked up Friday, Sept. 13.

The City’s Free First Saturday event is being moved to Saturday, Sept. 14. This includes use of the brush site and large item drop off at no additional charge.
