City offices closed for Independence Day Monday July 4

City of Leavenworth offices will close Monday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. The Riverfront Community Center will also be closed. Wollman Aquatic Center is scheduled to remain open for the holidays, but will close early July 4. (Open swim hours below)
Trash will be delayed one day throughout the week.

Fireworks are illegal in the City of Leavenworth.
There will be a public display of fireworks on Fort Leavenworth July 4 at Merritt Lake off Grant Avenue. Grant Gate opens to non- military ID card holders beginning at 4:30 p.m. Bring a valid driver’s license or other photo identification. The event begins at 6 p.m. followed by a Salute to the Union at 8 p.m. and fireworks at dusk. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
