The City of Leavenworth celebrates Arbor Day each year with a tree-planting ceremony. Arbor Day is always on the last Friday in April. See the link below for a history of Arbor Day.
We planted a tree in honor of longtime Parks and Recreation Administrative Assistant, Marcella Williams, for Arbor Day 2024.
