City offices to close for Labor Day, trash delayed throughout the week

On Monday, Sept. 6, City of Leavenworth offices and the Riverfront Community Center will close for the federal holiday. Trash will not be picked up Sept. 6. Trash will be picked up one day later throughout the week of Sept. 6-11. "Free First Saturday" will still be Saturday, Sept. 4.
Wollman Aquatic Center’s last day of operations for the season will be Sept. 6 for adult lap swim 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and open swim from 1 to 7:30 p.m. On Sept. 7, the facility will be open for “Doggie Splash,” a swimming session for dogs only.
