Following a storm that brought damaging winds in Leavenworth, residents will have the opportunity to dispose of branches at no charge. The City of Leavenworth will provide two no-fee days at the Brush Site, 1803 S. Second Street on:
- Saturday July 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. there are no fees for City residents
- Saturday July 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. there are no fees for City residents
The Brush Site is available for City of Leavenworth residents to take branches, leaves and other yard waste. Trees must be free of dirt and less than 12” in diameter, with no roots or root systems still attached.
Starting the week of July 10, the Brush Site will only be open on Saturdays because of staffing shortages.
