City offices closed for Veterans Day 2021

City of Leavenworth offices will close Thursday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.
Trash will be:
Monday – regular schedule
Tuesday – regular schedule
Wednesday – regular schedule
Thursday – No trash
Friday – Thursday trash
Saturday – Friday and Saturday trash
The Leavenworth County Veterans Day Parade Committee, which is separate from the City of Leavenworth, holds a Veterans Day parade each year in downtown Leavenworth on Nov. 11. Leavenworth police will close streets at 9 a.m. and the parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Usually the best thoroughfare for traffic going north/south and seeking to avoid the parade is 10th Street.
