City offices closed for Christmas, New Year holidays

City offices and the Riverfront Community Center will close Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019, and Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, for the Christmas and New Year holidays. The Riverfront Community Center will also close at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31.
Trash will be picked up:
Monday Dec. 23 – regular trash pickup
Tuesday Dec. 24 – regular trash pickup
Wednesday Dec. 25 – no trash pickup
Thursday Dec. 26 – Wednesday trash pickup
Friday Dec. 27 – Thursday trash pickup
Saturday, Dec. 28 – Friday trash pickup
Monday Dec. 30 – regular trash pickup
Tuesday Dec. 31 – regular trash pickup
Wednesday Jan. 1 – no trash pickup
Thursday Jan. 2 – Wednesday trash pickup
Friday Jan. 3 - Thursday trash pickup
Saturday, Jan. 4- Friday trash pickup

CHRISTMAS TREE DISPOSAL
The City will accept live Christmas trees dropped off at its Brush Site, 1803 S. Second St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 27, Dec. 28, Dec. 31, Jan. 3, Jan. 4, Jan. 7, Jan. 8 and Jan. 10. Decorations must be removed. Christmas tree disposal is free of charge at the Brush Site.
Residents can also place live trees at the curb (with decorations removed) during your regular trash day, and trash crews will pick them up within 24 hours.
