Deputy Director of Public Works

Deputy Director, Public Works:  The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified candidates to assist the Director with administration and management of the Public Works Dept. This position supervises and coordinates divisions, programs, projects and activities as well as participates in department planning. 

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Business or Public Administration, or related field AND 5 years progressively responsible experience in related public works division; OR Associates Degree in engineering technology or related field AND 10 years progressively responsible experience in related public works division; and a minimum of two years of supervisory responsibility; and must possess a valid state driver’s license at the time of application.

Starting Salary:  $76,971 - $96,214 DOQ plus excellent benefits package.
